About AVAR

AVAR (Association of anti Virus Asia Researchers) was founded in June 1998. The primary objective of AVAR is to prevent the spread and damage caused by malicious software and to develop cooperative relationships among anti-malicious software experts in Asia. AVAR is an independent and a not-for-profit organization.

AVAR consists of prominent experts on computer virus from various areas such as Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, UK and USA. AVAR’s independence helps it to play an important role to fight against computer malware globally and to raise user’s awareness on computer security issues.

The organization has a constitution and the code of conduct and is committed to improve member’s knowledge and skills.
