Biography:
Chengi Jimmy Kuo is a McAfee Fellow and member of AVERT at McAfee
Associates Inc. He has been with McAfee since 1995. Previously,
Jimmy was the manager of Symantec's NAV Lab and has also worked
at IBM and a company that is now part of Computer Associates.
Jimmy is a graduate of the California Institute of Technology.
Jimmy was the keynote speaker at AVAR 2000 and has also been the
keynote speaker for the Virus Bulletin Conference. He also speaks
internationally at other security conferences and universities.
Currently, he is a member of the Early Warning Task Force, writes
content for staysafeonline.info, is on the Oregon RAINS Advisory
Board, and participates in the Organization for Internet Safety.
He was the moderator at the White House Town Hall on cybersecurity
in Portland and served on the Presidential Y2K Council's Information
Coordination Center.
Finally, Jimmy was awarded the Fed 100 Award for his work on the
Melissa virus and is a Police Reserve Specialist of the Hillsboro,
Oregon police department.
