The viruses and malicious codes that make use of any system's vulnerability
to do buffer overflow exploit have been the greatest threat on the network
security nowadays. This article mainly introduces the principles and
hazardous effects of buffer overflow exploit, as well as the techniques on
how to detect and stop it.
This speech will cover the following key points:
1. The hazardous effects of buffer overflow exploit
2. The principles of buffer overflow exploit
3. How to prevent the buffer overflow exploit attacked by virus or
malicious codes by stifling system vulnerability in advance
4. Techniques of detecting known buffer overflow exploit
and relevant preventive measures against virus and malicious codes.
5. Techniques of detecting unknown buffer overflow exploit
and relevant measures of dealing with virus and malicious codes.
